Refer a new DFCU Member promotion is valid October 1, 2025, through October 31, 2025, and is subject to change without notice. New Members are defined as a person 18 and older who has never been an owner of an account at DFCU. All new accounts will be verified by ChexSystems® and are subject to approval and Membership eligibility. The maximum cash bonus referrer can earn is up to $225 - this is the cash awards breakdown: Referring Member will receive a $75 cash bonus when referred Member opens a Shield Advantage or Elite Checking Account within 7 days of referral. Referring Member will receive an additional $75 cash bonus when the referred Member establishes a minimum monthly direct deposit of $700 within 60 days from established Membership. Referring member will receive a $75 cash bonus when referred Member funds a minimum $10,000 personal loan or a minimum $20,000 auto loan within 30 days of referral. Loan approval is not guaranteed and is based on DFCU’s standard loan underwriting guidelines, including but not limited to: income, debt-to-income ratio, loan-to-value, good membership standing, credit history, and credit score.
