How do I Complete a Credit Card Balance Transfer Online with DowneyFCU?
Step 1:
Access your DowneyFCU account via Online Banking or the mobile app.
Step 2:
Navigate to the Balance Transfer option within your credit card account services menu.

Review your available credit before entering the transfer details.
Step 4:
Enter the information for the card you wish to transfer a balance from and submit your request.

How do I make payments to my DFCU Platinum Visa® Credit Card?
Payments are made through the DowneyFCU mobile app. Visit "Credit Cards" within the app to get started.
Can I use DFCU's Platinum Visa® Credit Card internationally?
Yes, you can use your Platinum Visa® Credit Card worldwide! Enjoy the convenience of accessing your funds abroad, ensuring a seamless payment experience no matter where your travels take you. DFCU Foreign Transaction Fees: Transactions made in foreign currency: 1% of each transaction in US Dollars. Foreign transactions billed in US dollars: 1% of each transaction in US Dollars.
What should I do if my DFCU Platinum Visa® Credit Card is lost or stolen?

APR = Annual Percentage Rate. Offer valid for 0.00% APR for 12 billing cycles with a 3.00% balance transfer fee during the promotional period. Valid for transfers made between 07/01/2026 and 07/31/2026. Applies to qualifying DFCU credit cards with an available balance only. After 12 billing cycles, rates revert to the standard rate for which the member qualified. Minimum transfer amount of $500 per transfer. Transfers allowed up to the available credit limit, minus the 3.00% fee. Offer valid for transfers from other financial institutions only. Convenience checks, online/mobile banking transfers, regular purchases, or cash advances do not qualify. Late payments may result in APR reverting to standard rates after a 60-day past due period. Payments are applied to higher APR balances first. To apply for the promotional rate, complete the Balance Transfer form via the DowneyFCU mobile app, call 562-862-8141, or visit the branch. Members without an existing qualifying DFCU credit card must apply and be approved prior to submitting a Balance Transfer form. Approval is subject to standard DFCU underwriting guidelines and is not guaranteed. Rates, fees, and terms subject to change.
