Core Conversion

We are excited to announce we will be upgrading our internal system. This change will better position DFCU to serve our members for years to come. This upgrade will be completed by March 1, 2022. To complete our system upgrade, DFCU will be closed from February 26 - February 28, 2022. Here is what to expect:

Hours of Operation During System Upgrade Weekend

Saturday, February 26 - Monday, February 28- DFCU will be closed to members for business

Tuesday, March 1 - normal business hours will resume


Credit, Debit, and ATM Transactions:
You can use your credit, debit, and ATM cards as usual during the system upgrade weekend. However, transactions will not post until after the system upgrade on March 1.

Mobile and Online Banking:
Mobile and online banking will be unavailable starting after 5 pm on February 25 through February 28. During this time, you will not be able to access your account. Online and mobile banking will be back online on March 1.

24/7 Telephone Banking:
On February 1, DFCU's 24/7 Telephone Banking will be discontinued. After the system upgrade on March 1, you will be able to access your account through online banking, or the DFCU $ mobile app.

Shared Branch Transactions:
Your DFCU accounts will not be accessible via Shared Branches starting at 5 pm on February 25 through February 28. You will still have access to DFCU and CO-OP ATMS during this time. The Shared Branching network will be back available to DFCU members starting March 1.

External Transfers to Other Financial Institutions:
Any recurring transfers to other financial institutions will need to be set back up once you have completed the reauthentication process. Scheduled incoming or outgoing external transfers from another financial institution during that weekend, may not post to your DFCU account until March 1. If your DFCU account is set up as a recipient of transfers from another financial institution, you will not need to make any changes

Bill Pay:
Any scheduled Bill Pay transactions will be processed as expected.

FAQ

  • Your account number will not change.

  • During the system upgrade, you can submit an application for a loan, we will be resume funding loans after the upgrade is completed on March 1. Apply for a loan online here.

  • Remote Check Deposit Capture will be unavailable after Thursday, February 24 and will be available again starting Tuesday, March 1.

  • You will not have access to payments during the upgrade. We will be resume processing loan payments on March 1.

  • No, when our system upgrade is complete, you will be able to log into mobile and online banking with your existing username and password.

  • Any pre-scheduled external transfers that are scheduled through February 25 will take place as normal.

  • Any transfers scheduled internally to a DFCU account or loan through February 25 will take place as normal; any scheduled between February 26 - February 28 will not process until March 1. In addition, make note of any DFCU members you have set up to transfer money to, as they will need to be re-entered after the system upgrade is completed.

  • No, when our system upgrade is complete, you will be able to log into mobile and online banking and schedule any Bill Pay transactions. Mobile and online banking will be available on March 1.

  • Your Bill Pay transactions will process normally. Any transactions scheduled on February 26-28 will be processed on February 25.

  • ATM, credit, and debit card transactions will work as normal, but any transactions from February 25 to February 28 will be posted on March 1.

  • Yes, you can continue to use your ATM and debit cards as usual during the upgrade with very limited disruptions, but will be unavailable to use the balance inquiry function at an ATM. The balance on your ATM receipt will reflect the amount in your account prior to the start of the system upgrade on February 24.
