My DFCU gives you the freedom, convenience and security to do your banking anytime, anywhere. Install My DFCU on your iOS and Android devices and we'll be at arm's reach wherever life takes you.

What can you do with My DFCU Mobile?


With My DFCU mobile app you can check balances, view debit and credit transactions, view check images, and detailed account summaries. Even make DFCU loan payments and transfer funds between your accounts, or to other Members' accounts.


Need to look up a past transaction or deposit? My DFCU allows you to look up statements safely ‑ up to 18 months of past statements.

Pay Bills

On the fly but forgot to pay that electric bill? My DFCU has you covered. Use the app to conveniently manage, pay all your bills, and view your payment history in one place. Pay ahead of time or set up recurring payments to prevent those forgetful days.

Real-time banking

My DFCU allows you to view balances and activity instantaneously. You can see it all as it happens, from credit or debit card usages to ATM transactions and deposits.

24/7 access to My DFCU

No matter the time of day, My DFCU allows you instant access to your account. Report a lost or stolen card, or find one of 30,000 ATMs or 5,000 Shared Branches available to you.


You're safe with us! Your security is always our top priority, and we have taken every precaution to ensure that My DFCU Mobile Banking App transactions will be secure.

  • All information transmitted via My DFCU is protected with state-of-the-art encryption, that masks your sensitive information.
  • A password authentication is required every time you sign on to My DFCU.
  • Multi-Factor Authentication to validate identity is required, when you use another device that is not registered.

If you have an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch running iOS 8.4 or greater:

    1. Open the App Store app.
    2. Tap the Search icon at the bottom of the screen.
    3. Enter My DFCU in the search field. Tap Search on your keyboard.
    4. Tap Get, then Install to begin downloading the app (you may need to enter your Apple ID password for iTunes).
    5. After install, tap the app icon and follow the prompts to register for a My DFCU account.
    6. Enjoy your mobile banking experience!

If you have a smartphone or tablet running Android 4.4 KitKat or greater:

    1. Open the Google Play Store app.
    3. Enter My DFCU in the search field.
    4. Tap Install on your keyboard.
    5. After install, tap the app icon and follow the prompts to register for a My DFCU account.
    6. Enjoy your mobile banking experience!

Deposit checks wherever you are with the My DFCU mobile app. All it takes is a couple snaps! Follow these simple steps using My DFCU:

  • Select Deposit on the My DFCU homepage
  • Enter your log in credentials or use your finger print
  • Choose an Account to deposit into, enter the check amount, and then tap Done
  • Take a picture of the front of the check, and then the back of the check. Make sure the back of your check is endorsed with: For mobile deposit only‑Downey Federal Credit Union, and your account number. The App will guide you to help center your check correctly.
  • Tap Confirm to submit the deposit
Please note: Checks deposited Monday-Friday before 3:00PM Pacific Time, will be credited to your account the same day. All other deposits will be credited to your account on our next business day. Please retain the check for your records for at least 60 days after it has been electronically deposited.

Deposity Limits: Current deposit limits are $5,000 per business day.

Availability of Funds: If a check via My DFCU's Check Deposit is received and accepted on a business day that we are open before 3:00pm Pacific Time, that day is considered to be the day of your deposit, subject to the other terms and conditions. Otherwise, that the deposit will be considered as made on the next business day we are open. Funds deposited using Check Deposit will be made available for your withdrawal and/or use in accordance with the terms and conditions of our Funds Availability Policy.

Security is our top priority. Check images are transmitted immediately and securely to DFCU and never stored on your mobile device.
