2019 Student Enrichment Grants

Over the past 16 years, DFCU has provided over $116,000 in grants to educators for their creative ideas that encourage learning both in and out of the classroom. The awarded grants cover the cost of programs, supplies, and training to improve the classroom experience for students.

This year, DFCU is giving away a total of $8,750 in grants and we have expanded this opportunity to ANY educator within our field of membership!

Five (5) $250, five (5) $500, and five (5) $1,000 grants will be awarded.

Applications will be judged based on the following criteria:

• Uniqueness of idea
• Creativity of idea
• Level of enhancement of students learning experience & environment
• Number of students impacted
• Relevance to CHARACTER COUNTS! education
